Madrona Point Insights
The geographic heart of Orcas Island, Madrona Point is a sacred burial ground for the Lummi Nation. It is also a place of extraordinary vistas as well as fragile wildflowers.
Published in 1985 as 7 handmade books (sold out), this selection of images is now available as individual prints. The "Madrona Point 1985" book, shown at the Orcas Center May 1986, helped publicize the successful effort to buy the land and preserve native and while burial grounds.
