The Pleasures of
Black & White
My first love in photography was the mystery of seeing in black and white, and then learning the magic darkroom work that produces rich, luminous, silky tones in the print.
Several of these images were shown in the Tacoma Art Museum’s juried exhibit “Photography 1975.” This portfolio was displayed at the Living Room, Eastsound, in 2004.
Ansel Adams: “The negative is the score, the print the performance.”
